Veronica is a 27-year-old graphic designer who decided to take the leap into self-employment. While studying graphic design, she started earning extra money by taking on small projects. After graduating, she took the bold step of launching her own business. The beginning was challenging, but today, thanks to her hard work, she enjoys the freedom she has always wanted.

A Passion for Creative Work

I always knew I wanted to do something creative. At school, I started experimenting with graphic design, and people around me encouraged me to pursue it. After finishing school, I went on to study graphic design and began looking for my first clients while still a student. Initially, I took on small projects – flyers, business cards, and logos for friends. When I started making money from it, I realised how much I loved the work and that I could turn it into a full-time career. I wanted to be self-employed, work with my own clients, and have the flexibility to manage my own schedule. So, after graduating, I started my own business.

"Invoicing was a constant headache for me."

More Admin, Less Creativity

When I first started, things moved slowly. Clients began reaching out, and I started getting regular projects, but the administrative side of running a business quickly became overwhelming. Invoicing was a nightmare. Even though I had everything organised in spreadsheets and knew what I was doing, it still took up far too much of my time. What frustrated me the most was that instead of focusing on design, I was constantly checking who I had invoiced and who still needed to pay.

How Veronica Discovered MyInvoiceOnline

Two years ago, a fellow freelancer recommended MyInvoiceOnline, and it changed everything for me. Suddenly, invoicing was effortless – it only took a few minutes. A couple of clicks and it was done – no more manual data entry, no more worrying about missing anything. Everything was in one place.

This gave me much more time to focus on my actual work, and I could finally dedicate myself fully to what I love – creating stunning visual designs for my clients.

The Freedom of Running My Own Business

Looking back on my journey, I know I made the right decision. I now have a steady client base and the freedom to choose projects that truly inspire me. I no longer worry about admin slowing me down. MyInvoiceOnline gives me the freedom and peace of mind I need to focus on my work. Instead of getting stuck in paperwork and chasing invoices, I’m back at my desk, full of creative ideas, excited to help businesses build their visual identities.
